How to prepare a drink or homemade smoothie using Lyo Powders ?
It’s as easy as 1, 2, 3 ! In no time you can create delicious drinks.
For a drink : add 1 to 2 tablespoons of one of the powders into 250 ml of water and mix using a blender.
For a smoothie : add 2 to 3 heaped tablespoons of one of the powders into 250 ml of water and mix using a blender.
Tip : you can use agave syrup, honey or even sugar if you like sweet and sugary tastes. Feel free to mix fruits and vegetables to create unique, gourmet flavors.

BLUEBERRY AND CARDAMOM PORRIDGE
2 tablespoons of Lyofood blueberry powder, 1 teaspoon of cardamom powder, 2 handfuls of oats, 300 ml of warm water.
Mix oats and powders in a bowl. Pour hot water and let it rest for 5-10 minutes. Add the extra of your choice.
Lunch or dinner
SPINACH PASTA WITH CHICKEN
1 tablespoon of LyoFood spinach powder, 50 g of wholemeal pasta, 100 g of chicken breast fillet, 150 ml of tomato pasta, 1 onion, 2 cloves of garlic, canola oil, 1/2 teaspoon of turmeric, 1/2 cup of Greek yoghurt, salt, pepper, Provencal herbs
Cooking instructions :
Cut your chicken fillet into stripes and marinate in the mix : yoghurt, herbs, turmeric and spinach powder for an hour. Heat some oil in a pan and add chopped garlic and onion. Add marinated chicken, and cook each side for a few minutes, let it simmer for another 5 minutes. Serve pasta and chicken with spinach sauce.
LENTIL, NETTLE, KALE AND LEMON SOUP
1 tablespoon of Lyofood kale powder, 2 tablespoons of Lyofood nettle powder, 150 g of brown lentils, 1 big onion, 1 diced lemon, 1/2 lemon juice, 1 L of chicken broth or vegetable stock, 1-2 cloves of garlic, olive oil, salt and pepper.
Cooking instructions :
Mix 100 ml of chicken or vegetable stock with both powders to form a paste. Add some oil in a pan over medium heat. When hot, add the garlic cloves, diced onion, nettle and kale paste and some salt and pepper. Cook for 5 min, until the onion is translucent (do not burn it). Add the lentils and the lemon juice. Simmer until the liquid is absorbed, then add the remaining stock. Cover and simmer for 15 minutes. Add the lemon and continue to simmer covered for 15 more minutes. Stir and serve.
Drinks and treats
CRANBERRY AND ALMOND MILKSHAKE
2 tablespoons of Lyofood cranberry powder, 250 ml of almond milk, 12 almonds, 1 pear, 1 tablespoon of maple syrup
Add all ingredients into a blender. Blend until smooth.
MORNING ENERGY DRINK WITH STRAWBERRIES, BLUEBERRIES AND RASPBERRIES
1 tablespoon of Lyofood strawberry powder, 1 tablespoon of Lyofood blueberry powder, 1 tablespoon of Lyofood raspberry powder, 230 ml of milk, 100 ml of water, 2 tablespoons of oats, 1 teaspoon of honey, 1/2 teaspoon of curcuma , 1/2 teaspoon of cinnamon.
Add all ingredients in the blender. Mix until you get a smooth texture. Pour in a large glass and enjoy!
NETTLE, KALE AND SPINACH DETOX DRINK
1 tablespoon of Lyofood nettle powder, 1 tablespoon of Lyofood spinach powder, 1 tablespoon of Lyofood kale powder, 1/4 avocado, 1/2 apple, 250 ml of natural yoghurt, 125 ml of water, 2 slices of fresh pineapple.
Mix all ingredients until smooth.
RED VITAMIN DRINK (STRAWBERRY, BLACKCURRANT, BEETROOT)
1.5 tablespoon of Lyofood strawberry powder ,1 tablespoon of Lyofood blackcurrant powder, 1 teaspoon of Lyofood beetroot powder, 250 ml of water.
We recommend you use a shaker for LYO drinks. Mix all ingredients until smooth.
BLACKCURRANT, SPINACH AND PEANUT BUTTER SMOOTHIE
1 tablespoon of Lyofood blackcurrant powder, 1 teaspoon of Lyofood spinach powder, 250 ml of milk, 1 banana, 1 teaspoon of agave syrup, 1 tablespoon of peanut butter
Add all ingredients into blender. Blend until smooth.
OAT AND RASPBERRY MUFFINS
1 tablespoon of LYO raspberry powder, 100 gr of oat flour, 250 ml of milk, 250 ml of water, 2 teaspoons of sugar.
Baking instructions :
Mix oat flour with hot milk and water in a food processor. Mix the mass with LYO raspberry powder. Put into muffin cups and bake at 160°C for 20 minutes. Check consistency using a thin-bladed knife, no wet batter should cling to the blade.
