Description
This Vegetable Fried Rice is a Thai recipe that has been prepared and freeze-dried by the range ´Fuel your Preparation´. Only natural ingredients are used. This meal is packaged in a tin of 7 servings, just add hot water to rehydrate.
However, cold water can be used to rehydrate this freeze-dried meal. Rehydration time will be longer though, say, 18 to 20 minutes for full rehydration.
This tin is ideal for food preparedness in case of disaster, or simply just in case, because it has a 25-year shelf life, thus helping to avoid a significant stock rotation.

However, product resealed using the plastic lid has been found to be acceptable up to one week after opening. This package is sold by weight, not volume. Some settling may have occurred due to shipping, handling or variations in the product density.
- To prepare a single serving
- 1. Mix can contents
- 2. Remove 100 g of dry mix from the can into a solid container
- 3. Bring to the boil 275 ml of water
- 4. Stir in the water to the food until mixed thoroughly
- 5. Cover and let the food stand for 8-9 minutes
- 6. Stir, season to taste and serve
- To prepare entire can
- 1. Remove the 3 oxygen absorbers from the can
- 2. Cover the contents of the can with boiling water
- 3. Stir in the water to the food until mixed thoroughly
- 4. Replace the lid and let the food stand for 8-9 minutes
- 5. Stir, season to taste and serve
