Description
It is always practical to have a lantern and a charging station with you when camping in the wilderness or during other circumstances. The Black Diamond Moji Charging Station is a camp lantern rechargeable via USB port which can also be operated with batteries (not included).
With a power of 250 lumens maximum, it provides you with really bright proximity lighting. Its globe bulb is frosted to prevent anyone being dazzled by the light. Thanks to its dimmer-switch, you can easily change the light intensity so that the lighting is adapted to your needs. In addition, the Black Diamond Moji has a double folding ring so you can hang it where you want.
The main advantage of this lantern is undoubtedly its battery life. In maximum mode, the lantern will only run flat after 50 hours. In minimal mode, you can make the most of it for 150 hours.
In addition to its lighting function, it also acts as an external battery and allows you to recharge your small electronic devices via USB such as a headlamp or a smartphone. With a capacity of 5200 mAh, you can charge your mobile phone once.
As for battery power and batteries:
– The lantern has a rechargeable Lithium Ion battery. A charge can last up to 8 hours.
– An auxiliary battery box allows the use of 4 AA alkaline batteries. When your battery is completely discharged, the Moji Charging Station is supported by them. The lantern is equipped with 2 battery level indicators (BPM).
The Moji has two charge indicators. The LEDs on the right indicate the status of the Lithium Ion battery. BPM 2 (on the left) indicates the status of the AA batteries located in the auxiliary box. If there are no alkaline batteries, the LEDs will not light up.
