The 5 bean Cassoulet recipe is a vegan freeze-dried meal made with 100% natural ingredients, this is a mix of vegetables in a garlic sauce. The tin contains 7 servings of this recipe, that is, 700 g of dry ingredients before rehydration.
This is the perfect food item to stockpile for emergency or survival situations. You can scoop out the portions you need or prepare the whole content of the tin at once.

However, product resealed using the plastic lid has been found to be acceptable up to one week after opening. This package is sold by weight, not volume. Some settling may have occurred due to shipping, handling or variations in the product density.

How to prepare
  • To prepare a single serving
  • 1. Mix can contents
  • 2. Remove 100g of dry mix from the can into a solid container
  • 3. Bring to the boil 250ml of water
  • 4. Stir in the water to the food until mixed thoroughly
  • 5. Cover and let the food stand for 8-9 minutes
  • 6. Stir, season to taste and serve
  • To prepare entire can
  • 1. Remove the 3 oxygen absorbers from the can
  • 2. Cover the contents of the can with boiling water
  • 3. Stir in the water to the food until mixed thoroughly
  • 4. Replace the lid and let the food stand for 8-9 minutes
  • 5. Stir, season to taste and serve
