This organic cotton liner was designed by Cocoon, an Austrian brand specialising in outdoor nightgear. Also called a meat sack, the Organic Cotton Mummy Liner has two advantages. It saves valuable degrees that can make the difference on a chilly night. It is also soft against the skin thanks to its high quality cotton.
The sarcophagus shape (“Mummy Liner” as the brand calls it) fits perfectly into your sleeping bag. For bivouacs in hot areas, you can even do without your sleeping bag and simply sleep in the liner. Be careful, be sure that the nights are warm because the Cotton Mummy Liner only provides a little insulation!
The material used to make this model of meat bag is organic cotton. Grown in India without GMOs, pesticides or insecticides, it requires 50% less water than traditional cotton. A good way to link sustainable products and eco–responsibility. Cocoon is also a member of BSCI, an initiative that commits companies to improving working conditions in their supply chains.
