Sea to Summit pocket shower

The question of hygiene often arises when going on an expedition, hiking or bivouacking. With this pocket shower, that will no longer be the case. This ultra-compact and lightweight model is ideal for easy washing without cluttering up or weighing down your backpack. Above all, it is very easy to use.

First of all, concerning its filling, this is fast thanks to the Sea to Summit Pocket Shower’s wide opening. This works the same as if you were using a waterproof bag: you have to fold the seams and then attach the buckle.

If you use hygiene products such as shampoo, it is advisable to move away at least 100 metres from the water source in order not to pollute it. No transport concerns. This is easy since the shower is equipped with a handle.

Once you have found a tree to hang your Sea to Summit Shower from, all you need to do is attach your shower. A 6 m long anchor rope is supplied with the Pocket Shower. Height will not be an obstacle. To hang it, swing the rope over the branch (make sure it’s strong enough) and tie a knot in the Delrin® D-rings attached to the shower. Then, using a pulley system, adjust the height according to your height.

Then all you have to do is open the tap. To do this, turn the shower head. The flow is adjustable. The more you turn the knob, the stronger the flow will be. With a capacity of 10 litres, you will enjoy a continuous jet of 7 minutes. More than enough for a long shower, or even two if you are fast.

Thanks to its black coating, the water stored in the tank heats up quickly when exposed to the sun. Thus, by leaving it for a few hours under the rays of the sun, you will even have the luxury of taking a hot shower at the end of the day.
