Description
This recipe based on diced beef, rice and mushrooms will revitalise you during your outdoor expeditions. Cooked and freeze-dried by Expedition Foods, it is then packaged in a compact and light bag that can be kept for 5 years at room temperature. Enough to store it until the day you need it, whether during your trek, at lunchtime at work or during a trip to sea.
To prepare it, you just need to pour water directly into the bag. It is best to heat the water to ensure a rapid rehydration time (between 5 and 8 minutes). But if you don't have a stove, it is quite possible to rehydrate it with cold water. Just allow more time for the food to regain its original texture.
