Description

This bag contains a recipe for beef and potato soup. This is a freeze-dried recipe prepared with vegetables (onions, lentils, rutabaga, carrots ...), potatoes and beef pieces. This dish is prepared by Expedition Foods, a British brand that makes high energy freeze-dried products.

The beef and potato soup can be rehydrated directly in the bag with hot water, or with cold water if you don't have a stove at hand. Note that the rehydration time in this case will be longer. Quite practical on long journeys, when you don't have the possibility to take a stove with you.

How to prepare Remove the oxygen absorber (sachet) from inside the pouch. Slowly add up to 170ml hot water, stirring as you pour and then close the bag. Wait 5-8 minutes for the food to rehydrate. (Cold water will suffice, however the rehydration time is much longer).
