Description
This Cooked, Long Grain White Rice is an essential ingredient for food preparedness in case of a disaster or unexpected situation. That´s 20 servings of rice that has been cooked then freeze-dried, and packaged in this tin, that is, 160 g per serving after rehydration.
The tin uses oxygen absorbers to help preserve the contents for a very long period of time, up to 25 years from the date of manufacture.
To prepare this rice, just add the quantity of hot water required to rehydrate straight in the tin, or scoop out the servings you need, for one serving, you´ll have to count 30 g of this basic food before rehydration.

- To prepare a single serve:
- 1. Mix tin contents
- 2. Remove 30g of dry mix from the tin into a solid container
- 3. Boil 71ml of water
- 4. Stir in the water to the food until mixed thoroughly
- 5. Cover and let the food stand for 8-9 minutes
- 6. Stir, season to taste and serve
- To prepare the entire tin:
- 1. Remove the 3 oxygen absorbers from the can
- 2. Cover the contents of the can with boiling water
- 3. Stir in the water to the food until mixed thoroughly
- 4. Replace the lid and let the food stand for 8-9 minutes
- 5. Stir, season to taste and serve
