Description

This spicy Thai freeze-dried recipe of green Chicken curry with rice is prepared by the British brand Expedition Foods, which provides freeze-dried breakfast meals and main courses in formats 450, 800 and 1000 kcal. This compact food pouch conveniently fits in backpacks and is easy to prepare, simply pour 575 ml hot water directly into the bag. This generous portion of 800 g after rehydration, makes two servings on a hike trip, or one serving in extremely cold conditions, in Greenland for example, when the body has high energy needs to maintain itself.

How to prepare Remove the oxygen absorber (sachet) from inside the pouch. Slowly add up to 575ml hot water, stirring as you pour and then close the bag. Wait 5-8 minutes for the food to rehydrate. (Cold water will suffice, however the rehydration time is much longer).
