The complete bag for emergency situations for one person was prepared in partnership with the teams of Secouristes sans Frontières (SSF). The objective of this survival bag is to help overcome a natural disaster (earthquake, hurricane, floods, and more). For each bag sold we will donate to the SSF Endowment Fund. These donations will help them build up a stock of equipment and an emergency fund to be able to transport its teams around the world as soon as a natural disaster strikes.

When to Use the Evacuation Bag?

This evacuation bag will enable you to be self-sufficient for 3 days. It has been designed for populations that must face natural disasters and wait for the arrival of help. Therefore, it is perfectly suited for areas prone to hurricanes (Martinique, Guadeloupe), storms and floods (notably along the entire Atlantic coast) as well as areas at risk of seismic activities or close to SEVESO sites.

The Essentials of Survival in an Evacuation Bag

The Mil-Tech adult backpack has a capacity of 55 liters and will weigh 7.2 kg in total. It includes various equipment that we have grouped into 11 modules (see listing below).

  • 1 Sawyer Micro Squeeze water filter: filters up to 375,000 liters of water. Effective against bacteria, protozoa. Hollow fiber membrane system with a 1-liter pouch included.
  • 1 BPA-free Nalgene bottle 1-liter with measurement markings every 100 ml for rehydrating freeze-dried meals.
