Description

The Rab Alpine 800 is a sleeping bag suitable for outdoor winter activities. According to the manufacturer's own measurements, the temperature limit is -16°C. This corresponds approximately to a comfort temperature of -8°C. Perfect for the harsh winter temperatures!

To achieve this level of warmth, the Rab Alpine 800 is filled with 800 g of duck down with a loft of 650 cu. The down is covered with Pertex® Quantum, a nylon fabric known for its wind resistance, on the outside and a recycled nylon lining on the inside. A water repellent is used to increase resistance to moisture such as condensation that can form in a tent.

In addition to the down, Rab has focused on essential winter features, starting with the herringbone compartmentalization on the upper chest area. This is designed to hold the down and distribute it evenly. The compartments are also divided trapezoidally to optimise warmth. The Rab Alpine 800 sleeping bag also has a collar that can be tightened and filled with down. An insulating flap at the zip prevents heat from escaping.

All in all, the Alpine 800 weighs only 1.2 kg and is suitable for year-round camping.

The Rab Alpine 800 sleeping bag is :

- A snug fit for less bulk and more warmth

- Comes with a storage bag and a compression bag

- A model that has never been compressed before use
