Exped FlexMat foam sleeping pad

The FlexMat is a foam sleeping pad designed by Exped for all kinds of outdoor activities, from bikepacking to mountaineering to hiking. Its R-Value of 1.5 allows you to sleep on the ground up to +5°C. Weighing approximately 300g (depending on the size chosen), this lightweight accessory can be easily hung around your backpack.

The Exped FlexMat can be used in two ways: either on its own or in combination with another sleeping pad. Please note that if you put it on top of another sleeping pad, the R-Value will be added together. So if you have an air mattress with an R-Value of 2.5, adding the FlexMat will give you a total R-Value of 4. Thanks to this better insulation, you will be able to bivouac in winter.

This foam pad can also be used as a puncture protection by placing it under your inflatable (or self-inflating) mattress. It is durable and in the event of a tear, its thermal performance will not be impaired.

Finally, the sleeping pad is available in three sizes, including an XS size. The XS size is 130 cm long and can be a good option for those who like to walk light.
