This is an insulation made from 700 cuin down so that you don't feel the coolness of the ground. When it comes to durability, you have to look at the outer fabric. Exped uses 70D/175D recycled polyester to cover the down. Polyester has the advantage of being more resistant to moisture and UV rays than nylon. Denier is a unit of measurement that calculates the weight per 9000m of fibre. With the same materials and weave, it is a good indicator of a product's resistance.
