British Berkefeld gravity water filter - 8,5L

The British Berkefeld is a water filter with a capacity of 8.5 litres, ideal for use in the home, on the campsite or in a van. It allows you to have drinking water in all situations. All you need is a nearby water source: river, fountain, public tap or lake.

The big advantage of this water filter is that it requires no effort (no pumping, no suction...). All you have to do is fill the upper tank and wait for the water to filter. The water then flows into the lower tank and becomes drinkable. You can then use the small tap.

The British Berkefeld comes with two Ultra Sterasyl filter cartridges and removes all impurities in 4 steps:

1. The outer ceramic layer removes pathogenic organisms down to 0.2 microns (bacteria, parasites, cysts) and sediments that cause turbidity in the water

2. Inside the ceramic, the anti-bacterial BioSeal™ and SureSeal™ ants prevent internal microbiological growth

3. Granulated activated carbon removes bad taste, odours, chlorine and chlorine derivatives, chemicals and drug residues.

4. The last stage consists of the rehabilitation of more than 94% of heavy metals (lead, aluminium...).
