Created in collaboration with alpinist Mathieu Maynadier, this freeze-dried meal was designed to meet the specific needs of high-altitude expeditions. Easy to eat even when appetite is low, the Mash & Cheese combines smoothness, flavour and optimal energy content.

The recipe features comforting mashed potatoes enriched with a carefully selected blend of cheeses for a smooth and flavourful texture. Mushrooms marinated in homemade Worcestershire sauce add depth and a well-balanced umami touch. Designed for demanding environments, this meal is part of LYO's EXPEDITION Menu, dedicated to extreme conditions.

Ready in minutes with hot water, it can be eaten straight from its practical pouch, ideal for ascents, bivouacs or long treks.

Ingredients: Mashed potatoes (potatoes 91%, milk, butter, spices, salt) 49%, cheese sauce (milk 59%, cheddar cheese 18%, pecorino romano cheese (PDO) 8%, potato starch, gruyère cheese 3%, butter, onion, vegetable stock (corn flour, salt, onion, yeast extract, natural vegetable extract flavours), salt, spices) 39%, mushroom in tamarind sauce (mushroom 89%, olive oil, salt, apple vinegar, agave syrup, tamarind, spices, sugar) 12%.

Allergen: Milk.

Preparation instructions:

1) Tear the pouch above the zip closure and remove the oxygen absorber sachet.

2) Add 280 ml of water and stir well

3) Close the pouch and wait 9 minutes
