Created in collaboration with alpinist Mathieu Maynadier, this freeze-dried meal was designed to meet the specific demands of high-altitude expeditions. Easy to eat even when appetite is low, the Mash & Cheese combines creaminess, flavour and optimal energy intake.

The recipe is built around a comforting mashed potato base, enriched with a carefully selected blend of cheeses for a smooth, flavoursome texture. Mushrooms marinated in a homemade Worcestershire sauce add depth and a well-balanced umami kick. Designed for demanding environments, this meal is part of LYO's EXPEDITION Menu, dedicated to extreme conditions.

Preparation method
  • Tear off the top of the pouch above the zip closure and remove the oxygen absorber sachet.
  • Add 280 ml of water and mix well.
  • Seal the pouch and wait 9 minutes.
