Clause 2: Applicable Law - Disputes

Orders are subject to French law. Contractual information is presented in French and products offered for sale comply with French regulations.

Where applicable, it is the responsibility of international customers to verify with local authorities the permitted use of products they intend to order. SAVEURS & LOGISTIQUE cannot be held liable for non-compliance with regulations in foreign countries where products are delivered. In case of disputes, French courts have sole jurisdiction.

 

Clause 3: Product Presentation

Product characteristics offered for sale are presented in the product details.

Photographs are not part of the contractual agreement.

SAVEURS & LOGISTIQUE cannot be held liable if errors have been introduced.

Product colours are indicative.

 

Clause 4: Warranty

Our goal is to provide you with quality products. Should you encounter any issues despite our careful measures, please contact us by email at team@freezedriedandco.com or by phone at +33 (0)2 97 87 23 73, and we'll do everything to resolve the matter. Whatever the issue, our objective is to ensure complete customer satisfaction. 

Dispute resolution will only work on condition that our product has not been installed, used, repackaged or maintained under normal conditions or as specified in our suppliers' instruction manuals. Under no circumstances may the customer claim compensation for immobilisation for any reason whatsoever. Return shipping costs are the customer's responsibility.

 

Clause 5: Validity Period of Sales Offers

The vast majority of our products are immediately available and ship from our warehouse within 24 hours.

However, certain products may have longer lead times (products being restocked, products available on order, etc.). To avoid any doubt, these lead times are clearly indicated on each product page and during the ordering process.

If your order includes both products with a 24-hour dispatch time and products with a longer lead time, it will be shipped in a single delivery once all ordered items are ready.

If an ordered product becomes unavailable, the customer will be informed of this unavailability as soon as possible by email or post. NB: Products ordered by cheque or bank transfer are reserved for 8 days following the order date. After 8 days without receipt of payment, the product may be sold to other buyers.

 

Clause 6: Product Prices

All prices are quoted in Pounds/Euros, including/excluding VAT according to your location. Depending on the country where you want the delivery to be made, VAT will be adjusted. You can view these prices by logging in and entering your desired delivery address.

The VAT amount is specified when a customer selects a product, and shipping costs appear on screen at the end of product selection (at the order summary stage). SAVEURS & LOGISTIQUE reserves the right to modify its prices at any time, but ordered products are invoiced at the price in force when the order is placed.

Clause 7: Orders

Customers confirm their order by clicking the 'Order' button in the checkout page. They thereby accept these general terms and conditions of sale. SAVEURS & LOGISTIQUE confirms the order by email, including all order details. Data recorded by SAVEURS & LOGISTIQUE constitutes proof of the nature, content and date of the order. This is archived by SAVEURS & LOGISTIQUE; customers can access this archive by contacting Customer Relations.

In accordance with Civil Code provisions on online contracts, the contract is concluded when you click the button to confirm your order after viewing its details, particularly the total price, and having the opportunity to correct any errors. You thereby acknowledge your payment obligation.

 

Clause 8: Payment

Payment can be made in multiple ways: by debit/credit card (3-instalment payment available at no extra cost via Alma), by bank transfer in advance, Apple Pay, Satispay, Bancontact, iDeal or via a PayPal account.

PLEASE NOTE: Card payment is IMMEDIATE, even when products are reserved or have a restocking lead time.

 

Clause 9: Late Payment

In accordance with Article L.441-6 of the French Commercial Code, late payment penalties are payable the day after the payment date shown on the invoice if amounts due are paid after this date. The rate of these penalties is one and a half times the legal interest rate. This applies only to sales to businesses.

 

Clause 10: Delivery

Delivery of available products to the United Kingdom takes approximately 3 to 6 days after SAVEURS & LOGISTIQUE receives payment (card, PayPal, bank transfer, Apple Pay, Satispay, Alma, Bancontact, iDeal...). Transport risk is borne by the seller, but in case of delivery damage or missing items, the buyer must note their reservations on the delivery note and confirm them within three days of delivery by recorded delivery letter to SAVEURS & LOGISTIQUE or by email: team@freezedriedandco.com. Transport is carried out by the method chosen by the customer when placing their order.

 

Clause 11: Customer Relations - After-Sales Service

For any information, questions or complaints, customers can contact SAVEURS & LOGISTIQUE Customer Relations Department Monday to Friday from 9:30am to 12:30pm and 2:00pm to 5:30pm, except Saturdays and Sundays, on 02 97 87 23 73. You can also send us a letter to our registered office or an email to team@freezedriedandco.com.

 

Clause 12: Satisfaction Guaranteed or Money Back

Customers have fourteen days to withdraw after receiving their order. After exercising the right of withdrawal, customers have 14 days to return the products, with return shipping costs at their own expense. They will then be refunded the total price of their order within 14 days of SAVEURS & LOGISTIQUE receiving the returned items. 

 We will process the refund using the same payment method you used for the initial transaction, unless you expressly agree to a different method; in any case, this refund will not incur any charges for you.

You may use the withdrawal form template, but this is not mandatory. To comply with the withdrawal deadline, you simply need to send your communication regarding the exercise of your withdrawal right.

Please note: Return shipping costs are the customer's responsibility.

 

Clause 13: Data Confidentiality

Personal data provided by customers is not shared with third parties; unless the customer expressly objects, it is included in SAVEURS & LOGISTIQUE's customer database.

In accordance with French law 78-17 of 6 January 1978, customers have the right to access and correct their data at any time. To exercise this right, simply contact our Customer Relations Department.

In compliance with the French Data Protection Act of 06/01/1978, this website has been registered with the French National Commission for Data Protection and Civil Liberties (CNIL).
