Description

This delicious freeze dried recipe consists of chicken, rice and a sauce with numerous spices (cumin, curry, saffron...). Prepared by Expedition Foods, the English brand specialising in outdoor nutrition. Proof of this is this 800 kcal meal packaged in a compact and lightweight pouch (171 g in total). The advantage of this pouch is that you can eat directly from it. Furthermore, it's easy to store in your rucksack, whether during your treks or your self-sufficient marathons.

The Chicken Korma with Rice large format offers:

  • A shelf life of 4 years, which also allows home storage
  • The option to rehydrate with cold water if you don't have a stove (allow more time)
  • A freeze dried meal rich in protein, carbohydrates and fats

Ingredients: Long grain rice (28%), onions, tomatoes, crème fraîche (milk), cooked diced chicken breast (11%), rapeseed oil, tomato purée, yoghurt (milk), Korma curry paste (sunflower oil, tomato purée, ginger purée, lemon juice (sulphite), salt, cumin, coriander, turmeric, cinnamon, chilli), sugar, cornflour, garlic.

Allergens: Milk, sulphites.

Preparation method:

1) Add 300 ml of hot water

2) Mix well, close the zip seal

3) Wait 5 minutes and enjoy.
