Description

The Real Field Meal large-format Bolognese pasta is a complete freeze-dried meal, designed for demanding outdoor activities. Perfect for hiking, trekking, expeditions or bivouacking, this meal delivers high energy output to keep you going over long distances.

At around 700 kcal per serving with a rehydrated weight of 600 g, this dish is particularly hearty and filling. Its pasta with Bolognese sauce recipe provides a good balance of carbohydrates, protein and fat to maintain energy levels and support recovery.

Easy to prepare — simply add hot water directly to the pouch using the integrated fill line. After around 8 minutes, the meal is ready to eat, with no extra washing up required.

Developed by Norwegian brand Real Field Meal, this dish draws on proven expertise, notably used in the Arctic Field Rations of certain armed forces. It is designed to deliver reliability, practicality and nutritional performance in demanding conditions.

Packed in a compact vacuum-sealed pouch, it fits easily into a backpack without taking up much space. Lactose-free, it is also suitable for a range of dietary requirements.

Real Field Meal Bolognese pasta offers:

Ingredients: Pasta (durum wheat, may contain traces of egg) (31%), meat loaf (beef (46%), potato starch, stabiliser (E450, E451), dextrose, salt, spices, onion, antioxidant (E301, natural rosemary)) (22%), carrot, tomato paste, tomato (7.8%), onion, rapeseed oil, corn starch, celery, meat stock, soy sauce (soya, salt, vinegar), garlic (0.4%), seasoning, basil (0.09%), antioxidant (ascorbic acid).

Allergens: Gluten, soya and celery.

Preparation:

1) Tear the top of the pouch above the zip seal. Add 440 ml of hot water (70–100°C / 158–212°F) up to the indicated line

2) Mix well. Close the zip seal and wait for 8 minutes

3) Adjust with hot water to your preference

4) Tear the pouch at the second notch and enjoy!
