Description

Bobotie is a traditional South African dish with sweet and savoury flavours, reimagined here by Adventure Food as a ready-to-use freeze dried version. This blend of rice, beef, raisins, apples and spices offers a true culinary escape during your outdoor excursions.

With 600 kcal per portion, this complete meal provides a good energy boost, whilst offering something different from the classic recipes often found on treks. Its rich aromatic profile, featuring turmeric, cinnamon, cumin and ginger, will appeal to lovers of spiced and original dishes.

Compact and lightweight, the pouch has a 4-year shelf life from manufacture. It's simply prepared with hot water and consumed directly from the pouch, completely self-sufficiently, whether hiking, trail running, camping or travelling.

Ingredients: Rice (38%), sunflower oil, raisins (9%), apple (8%), beef (7%), onion, powdered eggs, green beans (3%), glucose syrup, salt, potato starch, modified starch (modified maize starch), turmeric, garlic, cinnamon (0.17%), cumin, natural flavouring, cayenne pepper, coriander, fennel seed, ginger powder, nutmeg, bell pepper, fenugreek, clove, pepper, parsley, caraway, preservative: E220.

Allergens: Eggs. May contain traces of peanuts, nuts.

Preparation instructions:

1) Open the pouch at the notch. Unfold and remove the oxygen absorber.

2) Pour hot water up to the water line.

3) Stir well.

4) Close the zip and leave to stand for 8 minutes.

5) Stir again.

6) Enjoy directly from the pouch.

Preparation method
Ouvrir le sachet à l’encoche, déplier et retirer l’absorbeur d’oxygène.Verser de l’eau chaude jusqu’à la ligne d’eau.Bien remuer.Fermer le zip et laisser reposer 8 minutes.Remuer de nouveau.Déguster directement dans le sachet.
