Description

The 1L ÖKO filtering bottle is a reliable solution for drinking clean water during your outdoor activities. Whether hiking, bivouacking or travelling, it instantly filters fresh water from springs, rivers or lakes. Weighing just 172g, it slips easily into a backpack without adding bulk. Its wide opening makes filling easy, and filtration is simply done by squeezing the bottle to drink.

Made from BPA-free, non-toxic polypropylene, it's suitable for daily use. It can be hand-washed or put in the dishwasher, provided the filter is removed to preserve its effectiveness. Its robust design makes it a choice companion for long expeditions.

A high-performance filtration system

The integrated filter relies on patented technology from NASA. It combines several filtration stages:

  • Mechanical filtration through natural fibres impregnated with activated carbon, retaining particles down to 1.4 microns.
  • Electro-adsorption, which captures finer particles, particularly viruses, bacteria, protozoa, heavy metals, drug residues and microplastics.

This system guarantees 99.99% effectiveness against micro-organisms and pollutants present in fresh water, without using chemicals or requiring waiting time.

Well-designed autonomy

The filter has a capacity of 400 litres, roughly 6 months of daily use at 2 litres per day. It offers a fast flow rate of 2L/min. When the bottle becomes difficult to squeeze, it's time to replace the filter.

To better manage the filter's lifespan, ÖKO provides a free application: Öko Counter. It tracks the number of refills completed and makes filter replacement planning easy.
