Description

The Katadyn BeFree AC water filter is available in 0.5 litre or 1 litre format. Highly regarded in the outdoor community, the Katadyn BeFree AC can be used in any water source and fills easily thanks to its wide opening.

Paired with its lightweight Hydrapak SoftFlask soft bottle, it eliminates all protozoa (99.9%) and bacteria (99.9999%). An activated carbon cartridge has been added to this new version, removing bad taste and odours.

You can filter up to 1,000 litres of water with the EZ-Clean Membrane filter and 200 L with the activated carbon cartridge. This capacity may vary depending on water quality. The more turbid the water, the shorter the filter lifespan. Both the filter and activated carbon cartridge are easily replaceable.

If the Katadyn BeFree AC filter bottle has achieved such success, it's for two reasons. Firstly, its flow rate. With two litres of purified water per minute, it's one of the highest-performing filter bottles on the market. Secondly, the fact that the soft flask is removable is also a major advantage. If you're concerned about damaging the supplied flask, you can attach the filter to another container of the same diameter.

After use, the filter cleans as easily as it purifies water. Simply shake the entire bottle with the filter or rinse the filter. This extends the life of your water filter.
