Description
Micropur Classic MC 1000F preserves drinking water for up to 6 months in tanks, jerrycans or water pipes. Its liquid format is particularly suited to large volumes stored during an expedition, on board a boat, in a motorhome or for building an emergency home supply.
Its silver ion formula inhibits the growth of bacteria, algae and micro-organisms responsible for unpleasant odours. This helps maintain the quality of clear, already-potable water over long periods of storage.
Dosing is straightforward: 1 ml of solution treats 10 litres of water. The 100 ml bottle therefore provides a total treatment capacity of up to 1,000 litres, making it particularly well suited to large-volume tanks.
Micropur Classic MC 1000F can also be used in water pipes to limit microbial growth when an installation remains unused for an extended period. It does not, however, replace a filter or disinfectant when the source water is not already potable.
Its key advantage over tablets is more convenient dosing for quickly treating large volumes of water, without counting out multiple pills.

- 1ml (25 drops) for 10L of water. Fill the tank half full with water, add the required dose then fill the second half. Aluminium containers are not recommended.
