Description
Micropur Forte MF 1T disinfects clear water during hiking, trekking, travel or sea trips. Its compact format means you don't need to carry a large water supply when rivers, streams or other water sources are available along the route.
Dosing is simple: one tablet treats 1 litre of water. After a 30-minute contact time, Micropur Forte eliminates bacteria and viruses present in the water. Clear, non-stagnant water is recommended to ensure effective disinfection.
Its formula combines chlorine-based disinfection with silver ions. The silver ions help preserve treated water for up to 6 months when stored under good conditions.
The box contains 100 tablets, giving a total treatment capacity of 100 litres. When water is cloudy or laden with sediment, Micropur Forte can be used after a water filter to remove particles before disinfection.
Its main advantage over Micropur Classic is its ability to disinfect water whose potability is not guaranteed. It acts against micro-organisms while also ensuring extended preservation of treated water.
