Description

The Platypus QuickDraw water filter lets you reduce the amount of water you need to carry on a hike, trek or bivouac. Supplied with a 1-litre soft flask, simply fill it from a river, spring or fountain, then screw on the filter to drink directly or transfer the filtered water into another container.

Its membrane removes more than 99.99% of bacteria and protozoa found in fresh water. To maintain performance, it is recommended to use clear water, as very turbid or sediment-heavy water can clog the membrane more quickly.

With a flow rate of up to 3 litres per minute, the QuickDraw lets you drink or fill a container without waiting. Its squeeze-and-flow operation is straightforward: simply tilt and gently squeeze the soft flask to push water through the filter. A cap reduces the risk of leaks during transport.

The filter can also be used with many compatible hydration bladders and plastic bottles. Maintenance is simple: rinse it, shake it, or backflush with clean water to restore flow rate.

Its key advantage over many microfilters is an exceptionally high flow rate of 3 litres per minute, combined with a lightweight, compact and versatile system.
