Description

CONVAR couscous is a flavourful instant meal with oriental spices, accompanied by carefully selected vegetables. Rich in taste and balanced, it offers a comforting and energising meal, perfectly suited to replenishing energy reserves after intense efforts.

Designed for tactical operations, outdoor activities and emergency provisions, this couscous meets the demands of self-sufficiency situations. Its ultra-flat FlatPack format facilitates transport and storage, whilst its robust packaging guarantees a long shelf life, even in extreme weather conditions.

CONVAR couscous is:

Ingredients: 58% couscous (durum wheat semolina), 15% vegetables in varying proportions (onions, carrots, sweetcorn, leek, celery), palm fat, maltodextrin, modified starch, lactose, tomatoes, salt, yeast extract, milk protein, seasoning, 1% curry (fenugreek seeds, cumin, turmeric, rice flour, ginger, coriander, cloves), spices, natural flavouring.

Allergens: Gluten, celery, milk.

Preparation methods:

Preparation with hot water:

1) First remove the oxygen absorber from the pouch.

2) Next, pour 320 ml of boiling hot water onto the meal in the pouch, stir well and leave to soak for at least 12 minutes in the resealed pouch.

Preparation using the CONVAR™ heating pouch system:

1) First remove the oxygen absorber from the pouch.

2) Then mix 320 ml of cold water into the meal.

3) Place the pouch in the CONVAR™ heating pouch system and heat the meal evenly for at least 15 minutes.
