Description

The Jetboil JetPower 450 g gas canister is designed to fuel stoves with a threaded valve compatible with EN417 standard. Its large capacity is particularly suited to multi-day treks, extended bivouacs and camping, where fuel autonomy takes priority over compactness.

Its blend combines 73% isobutane, 25% propane and 2% butane. Isobutane helps maintain steady pressure, while propane improves performance in cold conditions. This composition delivers more reliable operation than a standard blend at altitude or in low temperatures.

Under normal conditions, a 450 g canister can boil approximately 40 litres (about 70 pints) of water. This provides substantial autonomy for preparing hot drinks, rehydrating meals or cooking over several days without frequently replacing the canister.

The canister is compatible with stoves using an EN417 threaded connection. It is not compatible with Campingaz appliances fitted with their own proprietary connection system.
