Description
The Optimus Energy 100 g gas canister is designed to fuel threaded stoves during hiking, bivouacking or high-altitude expeditions. Its small format keeps bulk to a minimum in your pack and is particularly well suited to short outings or lightweight set-ups.
It contains a blend of 70% butane and 30% propane. The presence of propane improves pressure and performance when conditions become more demanding. This composition makes it better suited to altitude use than a canister made up of butane alone.
Compliant with EN 417 standard, it is compatible with most threaded stoves on the market, including the Optimus Vega. Its valve allows it to be detached from the stove after each use, even when not empty, making storage and transport straightforward.
The integrated cap lets you check whether the canister is new or has already been used. This handy detail helps you manage your fuel supply before heading out.
