Description
The Optimus Energy 230 g gas canister is designed to fuel screw-top stoves on hikes, bivouacs and multi-day expeditions. Its intermediate capacity provides greater runtime than a 100 g canister, while remaining easy to carry in a backpack.
It contains a blend of 70% butane and 30% propane. The propane content improves gas pressure and helps maintain strong performance when conditions become more demanding — particularly at altitude or in cool weather.
Compliant with EN 417 standard, this canister is compatible with the majority of screw-top stoves on the market. It can be removed from the stove after use, even when it still contains gas, making storage and transport straightforward.
The cap lets you quickly check whether the canister is new or has already been used. Its main advantage is the excellent balance it strikes between runtime, pack size and compatibility for multi-day outings.
