Dried beef is naturally high in protein and low in fat. This 25g portion provides over 14g of protein and less than 2g of fat. Sugar-free, Indiana Beef Jerky is well-suited for consumption during long-duration efforts such as a marathon, or during recovery. It's also appreciated during night sailing to stay awake: sugary products can cause a blood sugar spike and a severe energy crash, whereas jerky ticks all the boxes at night.

This jerky is reduced in salt
Unlike biltong, jerky starts from a piece of meat (in this case beef) cut into strips. These are marinated then dried. The chew is harder with this type of product, which combined with protein ingestion, reinforces the feeling of fullness.
