Dried pork is naturally high in protein and low in fat. This 25g portion provides 15g of protein and less than 2g of fat. Sugar-free, Indiana's Pork Jerky is well suited for consumption during long-duration efforts or during recovery after a trek. It's also appreciated during night sailing to stay alert: as sugary products can cause a blood sugar spike and severe energy crash, jerky ticks all the boxes at night.

Jerky, an American preparation method
Unlike biltong, jerky starts with a cut of meat (in this case pork) sliced into strips. These are then marinated and dried. The chew is firmer with this type of product, which combined with protein intake, enhances the feeling of fullness. The 25-gram portion is salted to improve preservation (approximately 1g of Dead Sea salt). Consume as part of a balanced diet. Salt remains essential for the body's functions to work properly. As a reminder, it is partly eliminated through perspiration.
