Description

This freeze dried meals combines the sweet taste of parsnip, the richness of red lentils and the finesse of a creamy mushroom sauce, enhanced with turmeric, horseradish and pepper. Served with millet and garnished with parsley, this complete and tasty dish is 100% plant-based, gluten-free and lactose-free.

Designed to meet the expectations of consumers looking for convenient and balanced meals, it's ready in just 10 minutes after adding hot water. It's suitable for both outdoor activities and quick everyday meals.

This meal was developed as part of the Consumer Engagement Labs (CEL) project led by EIT Food. Thanks to user feedback, particularly from seniors, it was designed to offer an appropriate portion size, healthy composition and simple preparation.

The Parsnip and Lentils in Mushroom Sauce meal offers:

  • A vegan, gluten-free and lactose-free meal
  • A tasty recipe ready in 10 minutes with hot water
  • Developed with consumer advice for greater convenience

Ingredients: Lentils with parsnip (red lentils 16%, parsnip 13%, coconut milk, millet, oil, flat-leaf parsley, salt, horseradish, nutmeg, turmeric) 91%, mushroom in tamarind sauce (mushroom 89%, olive oil, salt, apple vinegar, agave syrup, tamarind, spices, sugar) 9%.

Preparation method: 

1) Tear off the top part of the pouch above the zip closure and remove the oxygen absorber sachet.

2) Add 200 ml of water and stir well

3) Close the pouch and wait 9 minutes
