Description

CONVAR's Indian curry chicken rice is a spicy and fragrant instant meal, combining rice, tender chicken and an aromatic curry sauce. Inspired by Indian flavours, this recipe offers a hot, comforting and richly flavoured meal, perfectly suited to replenishing energy reserves after intense effort.

Designed for tactical operations, outdoor activities and emergency provisions, this meal meets the demands of self-sufficient situations. Its ultra-flat FlatPack format makes transport and storage easy, whilst its robust packaging guarantees long shelf life, even in extreme weather conditions.

CONVAR's Indian curry chicken rice features:

  • A spiced chicken rice dish with an aromatic curry sauce
  • An energising and comforting meal after prolonged activities
  • A compact FlatPack format with robust packaging for outdoor use and long-term storage

Ingredients: 57% rice, 8% chicken breast (with antioxidant: rosemary extract), sugar, butter fat, starch, 4% curry (fenugreek seeds, cumin, turmeric, rice flour, ginger, coriander, cloves), lactose, onions, salt, sugar, seasoning, maltodextrin, thickener: guar gum flour; milk powder, yeast extract, spices, acidifier: citric acid; anti-caking agent: silicic acid; flavouring, emulsifier: mono- and diglycerides of fatty acids.

Allergens: Tree nuts, milk.

Preparation methods:

Preparation with hot water:

1) First remove the oxygen absorber from the pouch.

2) Next, pour 430ml of boiling hot water onto the meal in the pouch, stir well and leave to infuse in the resealed pouch for at least 12 minutes.

Preparation using the CONVAR™ heating pouch system:

1) First remove the oxygen absorber from the pouch.

2) Then mix 320ml of cold water into the meal.

3) Place the pouch in the CONVAR™ heating pouch system and heat the meal evenly for at least 15 minutes.

Cold preparation:

Mix the meal with the indicated amount of water and leave to stand for 40 minutes.
