Description
The universal gas canister support improves stove stability when cooking on the trail, at a bivouac, or at camp. Made by MSR, it is designed to fit canisters from different brands and in several sizes.
Its spring-loaded system lets you quickly adjust the opening to suit the canister size. Once fitted, the tripod widens the base and reduces the risk of tipping on uneven, soft, or slightly sloped ground.
The support can also be staked to the ground using tent pegs for added stability in demanding conditions. Compared to placing a canister directly on the ground, it provides greater safety without adding meaningful weight to your kit.
Weighing just 34 g and designed to fold flat, it stows easily in a cooking pot or backpack pocket.
