Description

The Optimus gas canister support improves the stability of small stoves screwed directly onto the canister, such as the Optimus Crux. It widens the base of the whole setup to reduce the risk of tipping during cooking.

This foldable tripod fits a range of Optimus canister sizes up to 450 g. It is particularly useful on the uneven terrain encountered during hiking, bivouacking or camping, where a canister standing alone may lack stability.

Weighing just 24 g, it adds stability without weighing down your pack. Folded, it measures 12 x 3 x 2.7 cm and stows easily in a cookpot or pocket. Unfolded, its 17.5 x 17.5 cm base provides a significantly wider footing than a canister used without support.
