Description
The NATO MRE self-heating 24H ration – Menu 2 is designed to provide a complete energy intake over a full day of self-sufficiency. With 3,600 kcal, it meets the demands of operational military rations and is equally well suited to outdoor activities such as hiking, bivouacking and emergency situations.
This ration includes a breakfast and two sterilised main courses. Lunch is chicken bolognese pasta with cheese, while dinner is a beef and vegetable stew. Meals can be heated easily using the included flameless self-heating systems, making them suitable for use in any conditions.
The pack is rounded out by snacks, drinks and desserts, along with a practical accessories kit to make preparation and consumption in the field easy. Compact and robust, this ration has a long shelf life, making it ideal for stockpiling or travel. Depending on the batch, some dishes may be suitable for a halal diet.
