Description

MSR LowDown is a remote adapter for stoves. Its purpose is simple: to bring stability to your gas stove. This accessory is aimed at two types of outdoor activity enthusiasts: those who cook on steep terrain and those who cook with large pots. In both cases, you'll need a stable stove to prevent your preparation from falling to the ground.

Using the MSR LowDown is very easy. Simply screw one side to your cartridge and the other to your stove. It's quick and compatible with all EN 417 standard gas stoves, such as Primus, Jetboil, Optimus and of course MSR.
Please note, this accessory is not compatible with duo stoves such as the Primus Essential Trail Duo model.
So even if you have a small ultralight stove (PocketRocket 2, BRS 3000T...), you can still cook for a group with a large pan.
Another advantage of the MSR LowDown is flame control. The valve is located on the cartridge and not under the stove. You'll therefore have less risk of burning yourself. As for its size, you can fold the legs to save space in your hiking backpack.
