Description

Simple to use, the Kovea P-Adapter for pierceable gas canisters attaches in seconds.
It allows you to use Campingaz-type gas canisters on screw-on stoves such as Jetboil, MSR or Optimus.

The Kovea P-Adapter will prove invaluable for expeditions in regions where EN 417 standard gas canisters aren't available. This is often the case in overseas territories such as French Polynesia or Réunion.

Lightweight and compact, it folds away and slips easily into a rucksack or even your cook set for optimal space saving. The Kovea P-Adapter helps you avoid unpleasant surprises. For a preview of the final result, the third photo shows an example with a remote canister stove. It works equally well with a standard gas stove.

Note: this adapter is compatible with pierceable valve gas canisters. Not to be confused with clip-on valve gas canisters (e.g. Campingaz CV 300). For this other type of canister, you need to purchase the Pat-Adapter from the same brand, Kovea.

Instructions for use: 1. Open the adapter tripodn2. Unscrew the valve on top of the adaptern3. Place the gas cartridge in the centre of the adaptern4. Hold the lower part of the gas cartridge with the tripodn5. Screw the valve onto the top of the adapter. A small amount of gas may escape. Ensure you are in a well-ventilated area away from firen6.
