The LifeSaver 20000UF 18.5-litre purifier jerrycan produces large quantities of safe drinking water without electricity or chemical treatment. It is ideal for expeditions, extended bivouacs, groups, off-grid households, and emergency or humanitarian relief situations.
The filtration membrane removes 99.9999% of bacteria, 99.99% of viruses and 99.9% of cysts, including Giardia and Cryptosporidium. Its performance meets the NSF P248 microbiological filtration protocol, designed for demanding field conditions.
Operation is based on manual pressurisation. Simply fill the reservoir, pump to pressurise, then use the integrated tap to dispense purified water. The air-purge cap makes pressurisation easier and ensures a consistent flow rate.
The cartridge can treat up to 20,000 litres of water before replacement. A end-of-life mechanism gradually blocks water flow as the filter wears out, reducing the risk of using a cartridge that is no longer purifying effectively.
Made from robust BPA-free plastic, the jerrycan withstands impacts and tough field conditions. Its key advantage over a filter bottle or individual filter is its 18.5-litre capacity, allowing a single self-contained unit to supply water for multiple people.
