Description

The Vargo aluminium windscreen improves stove efficiency during meals on hiking trips, bivouacs or camping stays. It shields the flame from draughts, reducing heat loss and cutting down cooking time.

Notches on the upper and lower sections maintain sufficient airflow to feed combustion. This design shields the flame while preventing the stove from being completely enclosed.

When unfolded, the windscreen measures 416 × 81 mm (16.4 × 3.2 in) and provides adequate coverage for most compact outdoor stoves. It folds back on itself to slip easily into a cook pot or a pocket of your backpack.

Weighing just 38 g (1.3 oz), it is a lighter option than a rigid windscreen. Its main advantage is boosting stove performance without meaningfully increasing pack weight.
