Description
The Opinel N°8 Tradition Inox is a versatile knife suited to camping, hiking, bivouacking and everyday use. Its well-balanced format offers a comfortable grip while remaining easy to carry in a pocket or backpack.
The 8.5 cm (3.3 in) Yatagan blade is made from Sandvik stainless steel with a carbon content of at least 0.40%. It delivers precise cutting, resists corrosion and requires minimal upkeep.
The clear-varnished beech handle is drilled and fitted with a leather lanyard for easy carrying or hanging. The Virobloc ring provides double security, keeping the blade locked open during use and locked closed when stored.
The knife measures 11 cm (4.3 in) when closed and 19.5 cm (7.7 in) when open. Weighing just 46 g (1.6 oz), it stays light and unobtrusive.
