Description

The Silky Gomboy 210-10 is a folding Japanese saw with medium teeth. Compact and lightweight, it has its place in a backpack when hiking or for a bushcraft outing. Supplied with a carrying case, you can even attach it to your belt.

Silky saws are renowned worldwide, and for good reason: the sharpness of its blades is unmatched. The Gomboy 210-10 is no exception to this rule. The blade measures 21cm and can cut fresh wood with a diameter of 10.5cm. It's also effective on wet wood or wood covered by snow.

The Gomboy 210-10 was manufactured from premium materials. Laser-cut, the blade is authentic Japanese steel, making it both robust and flexible. Its surface was then chrome-plated to reinforce its solidity and increase its resistance against rust and resin. As for the handle, it's made from “GOM” rubber which absorbs vibrations whilst maintaining excellent grip even in wet conditions or with gloves.

To maintain its efficiency, the blade must be cleaned after each use. Resin dissolves with olive oil. It's not recommended to use more aggressive solvents, as these may damage the handle.
