Description
The Light My Fire Tinder-on-a-Rope fire starter makes it easy to get a fire going on a bivouac, hike or outdoor trip. Made from natural resin-rich wood, it catches quickly and produces a strong, long-lasting flame.
Its resin content can reach up to 80%, allowing it to burn even when wet. Simply shave off a few curls with a knife, then ignite them with a firesteel, lighter or matches. It makes an effective base for catching tinder and getting a larger fire going.
Free from chemicals, it produces no harmful fumes when burning. The carry cord makes it easy to handle and allows it to be attached to a pack or piece of kit. Compact and unobtrusive, it fits easily into a bivouac or survival kit.
