The Santa Madre Unusual 60CHO – Neutral energy gel is one of the most concentrated gels on the market, specially designed for very long endurance efforts. With 60g of carbohydrates in a 100g gel, it meets the most demanding nutritional strategies, enabling 90 to 100g of carbohydrates per hour without digestive overload.

Its formulation is based on a 1:0.8 glucose:fructose ratio, optimising absorption via intestinal transporters, including GLUT5, for maximum and progressive assimilation. It combines four carbohydrate sources (maltodextrin, dextrose, fructose, isomaltulose), ensuring staggered energy release and excellent tolerance even during prolonged efforts exceeding 3 hours.

Its neutral formulation, without sweet taste or artificial flavourings, is ideal for rotating with flavoured gels or avoiding taste fatigue during long distances. It also features Refresh technology, providing a cooling sensation in the mouth and aiding thermoregulation in hot weather.

Caffeine-free, gluten-free, lactose-free and free from major allergens, it suits all athletes, including those with sensitive digestive systems.
