Description

Produced by Xavier, a small-scale Ecuadorian grower, these bananas come from organic farming in the Guayas plain, far from intensive banana plantations.
French brand Pépite works with him on a fair-trade basis to provide fair remuneration. When bananas are too large, too small or blemished, they cannot be sold. Pépite decided to valorise them by creating these gourmet bites wrapped around a cocoa bean. The result is a healthy snack ideal for staving off hunger whilst hiking.

With over 600 kcal per bag and weighing 160g (including packaging), the weight-to-calorie ratio is excellent.
Moreover, these bananas keep well at room temperature. Temperature variations aren't a problem. The resealable bag means you can dip in whenever you feel peckish.
