The Light My Fire adventure began over 20 years ago in Sweden. Its first product was a resinous wood fire starter, a quick and easy way to light a fire. It flopped. This innovation was misunderstood by consumers and the Swedish brand lacked the funds to market it.

Rather than giving up, Michael Odqvist, founder of Light My Fire, and his team continued to innovate and developed a match that could light a fire in any weather, at any altitude. The success was immediate, and the story of the Swedish brand was underway.

Since then, Light My Fire has established itself as a specialist in small hiking, trekking, camping and survival equipment. Design-focused, functional and quality equipment made in Sweden.
