Description

The Baouw organic salted caramel energy gel is designed to deliver fast energy during endurance efforts. Its compact 44 g stick provides 30 g of carbohydrates, giving you a substantial energy boost without taking up space in your pockets or pack. It is well suited to trail running, road running, cycling, bikepacking and long hikes.

Its main difference from many conventional energy gels lies in its 100% organic composition, free from refined sugars and unnecessary additives. Baouw combines organic cassava maltodextrin and organic agave syrup at a glucose-to-fructose ratio of 1:0.8. This combination is designed to optimise carbohydrate intake and support absorption during exercise.

The gel also contains sodium, useful for helping to offset mineral losses through sweat during prolonged activity. Plant-extract vitamins complete the recipe. Its fluid texture makes it easy to consume on the move, while the 44 g format slips easily into a pocket, trail belt or cycling bag.

The salted caramel flavour is a real asset on long outings. It offers an alternative to fruity gels and helps vary flavours throughout the effort. The recipe contains no preservatives, colourings or sweeteners. It was co-developed with two-Michelin-starred chef Yoann Conte and nutritionist Benoît Nave, and is manufactured in France.
