This survival bag helps you cope with natural disasters (earthquakes, hurricanes, floods). For each bag sold, we donate 10% (excl. VAT) to the SSF Endowment Fund. These donations help them build equipment stocks and an emergency fund to deploy teams worldwide when disasters strike.

Description

When should you use the evacuation pack?

This evacuation pack will enable you to be self-sufficient for 3 days. It has been designed for people facing natural disasters whilst awaiting rescue services. It is therefore ideal for areas prone to hurricanes (Martinique, Guadeloupe), storms and floods (particularly along the entire Atlantic coast), as well as areas at seismic risk or close to SEVESO sites.

Survival essentials in an evacuation pack

The adult Mil-Tech backpack has a 55-litre capacity and weighs 7.2 kg fully loaded. It includes various equipment items that we have grouped into 10 modules.

1 knife Morakniv Companion

1 Petzl headlamp suitable for adults and children. Its two CR 2032 lithium batteries allow 10 years of storage

1 battery-powered radio

1 Pharmavoyage first aid kit

  • 1 SOL emergency blanket: reflects 90% of body heat. Also suitable for use as a tent footprint or picnic blanket.

  • 1 BeFree Tactical water filter: 1000 litres of filtered water. Effective against bacteria and protozoa. Hollow fibre membrane system supplied with 1 litre pouch
  • 1 BPA-free Nalgene bottle 1 litre with 100ml measurement markings for freeze dried meals
  • 6 litres of drinking water, 5-year shelf life
  • 6 freeze dried meals 7-year shelf life, rehydrate directly in the pouch with cold water (or hot water using the Cookware module)
