Description

The Baouw organic cherry-guarana caffeinated energy gel is designed to deliver fast energy during endurance efforts and demanding sections. Its compact 44 g stick provides 30 g of carbohydrates and combines guarana with a fruity cherry recipe. It is well suited to trail running, road running, cycling, bikepacking and long days out hiking.

Its main advantage over many conventional energy gels lies in its 100% organic composition combined with a caffeine boost. Baouw uses organic cassava maltodextrin and organic agave syrup at a glucose-to-fructose ratio of 1:0.8. This combination is designed to support carbohydrate absorption and maintain effective energy delivery during exercise.

Guarana is the standout ingredient in this recipe. Naturally caffeinated, it complements the carbohydrate intake during long efforts or moments when alertness and concentration become critical. The gel also contains sodium to help offset mineral losses from sweat, along with vitamins from plant extracts.

Its fluid texture makes it easy to consume during activity, and the 44 g format travels easily in a pocket, trail belt or cycling bag. The cherry flavour delivers a fruity note, while the recipe contains no preservatives, colourings, sweeteners or refined sugars. The gel was co-developed with two-Michelin-starred chef Yoann Conte and nutritionist Benoît Nave, and is manufactured in France.
